LOWER BACK PAIN PREVENTION

Try this movement:
Corrective Posture

  • Set in place for 5 minutes
  • 3 times per day

Movement Instructions:

  • Begin by sitting upright in a chair facing forward in a neutral
    position and rest your hands on either side of body.

  • Move your buttocks as far back in the chair as possible.

  • Lean forward to place the lumbar roll (towel, pillow, etc.) right
    above the top of the buttocks.

  • Keeping the lumbar roll in place, lean comfortably against the
    back of chair, arching the lower back slightly.

  • Sustain the corrected position as long as possible.
